Default Arma2 and NV drivers 190.38=Bad?

So I have been playing a fair amount of Arma2 lately and the game ran fine with 182.15 drivers I had installed. I've used those drivers for a good while now so I finally decided I would install the newest drivers NV released. Well I did what I normally do when I install the drivers(works every time). But now that I have these drivers installed arma2 doesnt load the textures of the game at all(ie, the helicopters, tanks, planes, ground, trees, buildings) everything is just REALLY ugly and I tried reinstalling the drivers again and got the same issue.

I also tried changing some settings in NV control panel and in game.....nothing, something to note is when I do try to change texture quality IN game it goes black and then comes back with no change(still on Ultra High or whatever the top is).

Any Ideas?

Also I can play every other game just fine,TLR,L4D,CODWAW.etc.

as always +rep for good advice fellas

Try uninstalling your display and then running driver sweeper to get rid of any left overs from previous drivers. Then do a nice clean driver 190.38 install. AFAIK 190.38 beta drivers were working fine with arma2.

I think this might be what I'm going to have to do. I've been having issues with the new drivers also (see my thread GTX 260). If it keeps freaking out, I'm gonna roll back to 186.

My buddy told me he went to the 190s and it freaked out some of his games - weird-ass colors.

IMHO, the 186.18s are great and that's where I'm staying for now.
