I'm new to this site, but it looks like a good place to get help.
__________________So I'm running two GTX 260's in SLI, with 2 monitors and occasionally depending on the day it happens a lot, some days it doesn't happen, but my screens will get all distorted, so everything just looks fragmented. Then after a few moments the computer will reboot, a few times it's popped up a blue screen and says the video driver has failed. I've had the problem for awhile now, and the drivers have been updated several times and I keep hoping that it'll fix it, but it never does. Any suggestions?

Hi, Als! Welcome to Overclock.net!
So, I'm curious: have you always had two GTX 260's in SLI with a dual monitor setup in this rig?

Thank you

This is my first time using SLI. (edit: I was actually hoping changing to two of the same video card might fix it.)

I'm not sure if it's related, but which power supply do you have? What's the brand and model?

Well then it has to be enough power. So perhaps it's something else and so perhaps all I'm doing is giving free bumps for the thread.

Yea, it should have plenty of power, but I just have no idea what could be causing the issue. :_(

I'm thinking it might be a heating issue, so I followed a guide on here on how to try and fix it. Hopefully this'll work.

I guess another thing to try would be increasing the northbridge (SPP) voltage, or the southbridge (MCP), or even both. Here's what Newegg's Learning Center has to say on what the Northbridge and Southbridge chips do:
Quote:
So, perhaps your rig is looking for more voltage for either the SPP or MCP - or even both. You may even benefit from increasing the HT nForce SPP<-->MCP voltage a little bit. According to the manual, that's "the HyperTransport interface between the NVIDIA nForce SPP and MCP chips". However, that's as much as I know about it.
