Cool Sparkle 9600gt 1gb ddr3 overclocking help!!!

Hello people. I just bagged myself a sparkle 9600gt 1gb ddr3 card and wondered if anyone can help me overclock this card. I was very successful in overclocking the sparkle 8600gt 512mb ddr2 card, so I thought I would try my hand with this one. So far I have pushed the shader clock a fair way up the Scale, but dont seem to be having much luck with the core clock or the mem clock speeds. Has anybody managed to beat this card into submission yet. Would a bios mod be in order or do I have to go the way of a volt mod, something which I try to stear clear of. Any help would be "Great Help".

My specs are as follows :-

Asus M3N78 SE mobo...
Amd 64x2 5200 2.7ghz cpu overclocked to 3.12ghz...
Giel 2x2gb ddr2 800mhz running at 5.5.5.15...
Sparkle 9600gt 1gb ddr3 gpu...
Soundblaster 24bit audio...
Saitek gaming keyboard...
OCZ Equalizer-z gaming mouse...

hope somebody can help me improve this already competent card a little more.

Many thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Respect to the community.

Hi SickStew. thanks for the quick reply. I have been using rivatuner for about 18 months now and am very happy with the results it has given me. I am currently running v.2.24. True, RivaTuner is a neat little piece of code, but it doesnt seem to be able to squeeze any worthwhile resultsfrom the core or mem clocks. with regard to the shaders, the sky seems to be the limit. would a bios flash give me any extra headroom with the core n mem clocks?

All help gratefully appreciated.
