Default Overclocking my old 7900gs on Windows 7

I've been delaying buying a new Mobo and graphics card, and will probably wait for Christmas, but that's not the point. I have my 7900gs with a Zalman cooler on it running the newest 190.38 drivers. My stock speeds are 562/702. I'm using a Dell, so I'm not sure if that affects my possibilities, and Windows 7 seems to not like me OCing stuff. I'm wondering if anyone can point me to a program/tutorial on how I could overclock this card a decent bit to help it last a few more months.
I've tried aVGA Precision, RivaTuner, and ATITools, none of which will boost it at all. I haven't OCed much before, so maybe I'm doing it wrong or something, I have no idea. Thanks in advanced for the help.

There is a guide on how to get RivaTuner to work in W7 here.

Also, welcome to the forums!

So do I put my current version of the drivers into the box?

And also, they say that Vista drivers work well and are OC-able in 7, is this true and/or is it worth the swap?

EDIT: Now even without overclocking, my desktop is constantly going in and out and giving me a error saying "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered; Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 190.38 stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

Does anyone know what this is? I know it isn't heat, because the card never got above 45 degrees.

You might have it not like OCing by like 15 or 20mhz thats normal. It heats up and works the GPU this way.

Just take what you can get. Did you volt mod that puppy, you can go to 650mhz I believe on core,,

Heat's not an issue. I've been able to top out at about 590/720 before I start getting the crashes and never go above 55 degrees on load.
Can you give me a link to a Volt Mod tutorial, preferably one that uses the 7900, or something similar.
Also, would a 650 Watt PSU be able to take this? I'm pretty sure it can
