Question Problem with my PNY 9800GX2

Hello!
My question is the next:
It is possible to assing all the vram(1gb) of the card instead od 512mb for play?
Recently i instaled Grand theft auto 4 in my computer then i niticed that only use the half of the vram and doesnt gives all the potential.
Thanks for your time and sorry for my bad english.

you're not using half the ram...you're using all of it

the 1GB is for the whole card, 512MB per GPU

SLI splits the work between the 2 GPU's, so you only get the 512MB effective vRAM on there

I just explained it...you can't use 1GB because it splits it in 2...you have only 512MB that can be used

Im a little disapointed about my new card.

A better card? Maybe a 4890, GTX 275/280, etc .
