Default Nvidia's Drivers not saving previous info during updates

Does this bother anyone as much as it bothers me?

Everytime I update the drivers, i have to manually redo all my 3D settings, because the defaults suck (EQ2 needs to run in single gpu, other games need forced Vsync, and or other forced improvements).

It's not like writing that info to a text file that sticks around is hard to do or anything.
