New to Overclock.net

New member and this site seems to have some smart folks, so here goes my issue.
Okay, let me explain my current issue as best I can. Also please note that Vista Ultimate runs fine before upgrading a new driver for my GTX 275's. In addition, I'm not overclocking just to see if this gets corrected. 1. Installed Vista Ultimate and ran the update (installing all important and recommended updates) Note: no updates relating to GPU drivers though. 2. I then went to NVIDIA's website to download the newest driver (i.e. the 190) 3. I ran the application for the 190 and installed the new driver. 4. PC was then re-booted. 5. General screens and all the way to the Vista scanner logo 6. Black screen (the login screen never shows) My next steps..... Uninstalled driver through device manager Safe Mode and ran driver sweep Rebooted and then used driver version 182 (same issue) - 185 (same issue) - 186 (same issue). Every driver I've tried just never runs and the login screen never shows. Did I miss a step? Just to note, I did manage to get the 190 driver working for only one day (playing Cryostasis with no issues). Anyone with any recommendations/fixes would be greatly appreciated. P.S. I posted under O.S. as well just in case.... _____________________________ My Current Setup: ---LIAN LI ARMORSUIT PC-P50 Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower ---Intel Core i7 950 ---EVGA 132-BL-E758-TR x58 SLI MOBO --- 3x EVGA GTX 275 Superclocked Edition 896MB 448-bit DDR3 (in 3-way SLI) ---12 GB: Corsair TR3X6G1600C8D Dominator 6 GB 6 x 2 GB PC3-12800 1600MHz 240-Pin DDR3 ---Cooler Master V8 ---1x Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB 32 MB Cache, 7200 RPM SATA II ---2x Western Digital VelociRaptor 300 GB 16 MB Cache, 10,000 RPM SATA II ---1x CORSAIR 1000w HX Series 12v ATX SLI Ready ---Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Sound Card (currently not installed) ---Vista Ultimate 64 (win 7 ultimate 64 soon...) ---Samsung 46" 240hz LED 1080p HDTV monitor (via HDMI) |

Hope it works out man. If you don't mind me asking, how much did that setup cost you?

Please do not make threads in multiple sections about the same subject.
If you are having boot issues after installing the device drivers for your card, and are sure you have selected the correct ones for your card and operating system, then you may want to think about requesting an RMA for the graphics card.
