Default GTX 275 Clocks/Temps.

For all you GTX 275 users out there. What clocks do you have your cards at? What temp are you getting(Load)? What program are you using to stress your card? What program are you using to clock your card?

Sorry about all the questions im just curious as to what mine should be around.

Every card is different in its overclocking capabilities, its up to you to find that speed. I'd suggest EVGA Precision for overclocking. And for stressing your card, just play a couple of your favorite games, keep running the core speed up 5mhz and testing and the memory speed up 11mhz up and testing. Once you start seeing Artifacting run the core speed down about 20 MHz and memory speed down about 50MHz and that's your stable speed.

Good Luck

I don't have my GTX 275 (yet) but the typical OC is 700-725MHz for the core, riva tuner or evga precision is used for overclocking and managing fan speed, furmark is used for stress testing.

The shaders commonly hit 1500+ and since you fold that would be the first place to start.

I really shouldnt bother even overclocking that much since I have a crap motherboard(sig rig is in evidence so im using a different board) and so I get a crap overclock anyways. I cant push my card much further than what its at now otherwise its doing more harm than good.

Nice! my card hit a wall at 1584 in shaders which is the stock for my card lol. It sucks because I saw reviews of my card getting about 1680 in shaders.

I don't fold though. Isn't it just a waste of time? I preffer to put my card to use by playing a game or 2

715/1584/1200, 68C during the hottest part of the day folding those !@#$ 511pt wu's
I suspect I can get more out of mine, I just never have time to mess around with it.

Speaking of which, anyone tell me a good way to check for folding stability while trying to up core/shaders?
