Yes you can flash the cards separately while they are both in your system ..

I use the Usb/Dos method myself , but as you can see I wrote that section.
and when you do it you need to ID which card you want as in id 0 or id 1
for slot 1 and slot 2

for example during a forced flash
it would be
i0 -4 -5 -6 newbios.rom -- this would be the first card
i1 -4 -5 -6 newbios.rom -- this would be the second card

Just to clear it up, I actually can keep the SLI bridge on and just use this method?
