Default From 182.06 to 191.07

Well i just wanted to share this with you guys.

I had the 182.06 drivers(which came with the card) installed with me 250 GTS 1GB. I benchmarked it using Street fighter 4 and got an avg. of 76.73 fps. And when I overclocked the core clock to 820 from the stock 738(obviosly along with the shader and mem. clocks) i was able to get exactly 85.00 fps.

Now i updated my drivers to 191.07 and was able to get 89.03 fps without any overclock. That is a huge difference of 89.03-76.73= 12.30 fps. And im absolutely serious no joke here.

Has anyone else experienced these type of improvements?

It depends on the software you are using.

Some games are completely unplayable on certain drivers.

I tried using the latest drivers 192.? they where great for folding and for most games
but Cryengine2 did not like them, I got a lot of artifacts in both crysis and Crysis warhead, I rolled back to the 182 drivers and all is well in the world of Crysis
and folding is just as good

Hm... on my craptacular Geforce 6800 I got really smooth but low FPS with 190.62 but got really crappy, choppy, low FPS with 191.07, benching w/ CS:S.

:\

I just upgraded to 191.07 on my 8800GT/Vista 32 SP2 and it was not a pleasant experience. Had to roll back to 186.18

Looks like it really depends what OS and card your using.

windows 7 + 191.07 drivers = NO NO NO!!!

i got a screen full of artifacts while playing CSS today and now im trying to figure out what drives to fall back to. It also seems slightly chopping in areas for all my games.
