Anyone know of a program to stress test with a 64 bit OS

ps might as well ask about one for CPU too although I'm sure prime prob has a 64 bit version

Just run 2 instances of prime95 and watch temps with coretemp. That's it...

OCCT worked for me. I prefer it to Prime95

How about stressing the Gpu to yet my video card?

ps. I have a weird situation core temp is reading my vid on the processor as 1.25v in win 7 64 bit. But in win xp 32 bit it's reading it as 1.1325v

so I change the OS and the vid goes up?

Same programs that you use in 32-bit will work fine in Win 7 x64, and will often have 64-bit versions.

be careful when using this, furmark stresses gpu's to there limit, so make sure fanspeed is set to 100% and if temps get to high after a few minutes i would stop. But yeah, furmark is a great stress program for gpu's. just take caution.

Prime95 64bit for cpu, I personally use a game such as Crysis to test stability for GPU. Oddly enough, Left 4 Dead is a good indicator of a bad clock as well for me.

PS: Only run 1 instance of Prime95 you select how many cores to be tested, set the threads to 4.

Thanks for all your help guys I have furmark and prime on there now. Guess I need to read some more about the x86 compatability stuff and see how all of that works.
