Reset everything to what I had before I attempted to update to 191.07. I'm going to also revert to the 186.18's, my 260 didn't drop below 50fps in TF2 before September so this might help it. Thanks again, guys.

so this affects any nvidia chipsets?

the NF200 chips where only on tri sli boards weren't they?

You don't have to uninstall your old drivers first, only if you are going to a different vendor or different video card.

Ok, just wanted to say one thing here, if the driver is not somehow physically damaging your card or board then there is no way the problem can't be fixed by formatting your OS drive and reinstalling windows and using different drivers.

it's my understanding that bad software can cause bad handling of the hardware and can mess stuff up

old thread... ive got the GTX260 windows 7 x64 im going to roll back to 186.18 and see if i have any improvements. although i didn't have any issues before something wasn't right and i dont think i have been getting the most out of my card
