I tried the 187.66 but no the XG drivers. I just added the moded inf to the 187.66 drivers and they installed fine and wow. Probably up to 7 fps better in Crysis. But something just didn't seem right. Even the desktop looked a little funny.

Mmmmmm I played with the control panel settings and got my desktop looking almost like it usually does. Went back to Crysis and Wow! great performance but something is just not right. Is almost like the AF level is so crappy. I'm forcing AF to 16 in the NVCP and I use:

r_TexMaxAnisotropy = 16
r_UsePOM = 0

Ok so it's obvious that in order to have a gain in performance you get hit with IQ loss. I went back to 191.07 and it looks amazing again. Even my desktop looks normal again and of course I get a performance hit but I love playing with extreme settings so I'm sticking with 191.07.

It's also possible that it's just due to the fact that these drivers are not meant for the GT200 cards. That's why they need a modded inf file.

You can drop that idea out. GTX200 series driver support started with 181.xx drivers. Shouldn't have to have modded INF file to install them.

Also, would you please upload a copy of the INF file you used?

The won't install without the modded inf.

I tried and it didn't. These drivers I don't think are meant for the GT200 series.

Anyone happen to have any Dragon Age results for 195 drivers? There is supposed to be improved SLI performance with these new drivers. I've been using AFR2 instead of "Nvidia Recommended" and it practically doubled my framerates, just wondering if these new drivers employ a different method.

Dragon Age runs practically flawlessly now but what can I say, I'm a sucker for free FPS!

Thanks for the suggestion, but this didn't work out for me. I'm using the Steam version of Dragon Age, so I exported the new SLI profile, edited the .exe file, and imported it back in. The results were ghastly, where I was getting 85-95 framerates with Forced alternate frame rendering 2, I got 25-35 with the new SLI profile.

Thanks for the idea though, it's the thought that counts!
