__________________so basically the 750 780 etc boards all need to steer clear. the NF200 chips where only on tri sli boards weren't they? I've found bits of info here and there, but nothing that lays it all out.

Not everyone is having the issue. I'm running 191.07 and everything is nice and smooth.

the common seed I've been seeing is nvidia chipsets and/or NF200 chips
__________________I thought that the NF200s were only on tri SLI boards like the x58 is this correct? so the problems are not isolated to the nvidia chipsets on the MB? it' seems odd nvidia would release a driver that caused problems w/ their own boards. don't want to DL a driver that will end up in me replacing a MB.

The x58 board does not have the NF200 chip. Well, I think there is another common factor that nVidia has yet to pin down. There are a lot of peeps running these drivers with nf200 boards and not have any issues. I'm guess these ppl are running a program that is conflicting with the drivers and the error remains after new drivers are install because the program is some how corrupted. Just a guess.
