Default Overclocking-Reducing life?

Well i overclock my gts250 from 738/1836/1998 to around 800/1990/2250, although usually for benchmarks. I keep my temps below 65c. I was reading somewhere that this reduces life. Although i know this already but just wanted to be sure that at below 65c would this still reduce my gpu's life.
Just wondering....

running anything over stock speeds will reduce its life. but generally for computer hardware that card will be long obsolete before you see any degradation from overclocking.

Wow that's a good question, i think it DOES reduce it's lifespan, kinda the same way you overclock your cpu and you're cutting your power's life span. So far i know of.. as for gpu i'm sure it's the same method as processors. I have no clue though. Anyone else could answer this and maybe we'll learn something from it.

Think of it this way, the parts are working faster than they originally would. So yes, it can. Especially considering more heat will require a faster fan, and the fan running faster all the time can decrease its life as well.

Well as i said my temps usually stay around 60C even with overclock and fans never go above 65%. My gts250 is an MSI and it has a really good heatsink (atleast i suppose so compared to other gts 250's)
Any help will be appreciated.
Besides i usually upgrade my computer after 3-4 years so i wouldn't like my graphic card to die.

The fan running faster decrease the fan's life you mean? Have you ever heard of a person's fan dying from running it 100% all the time? I haven't.

And, if your fan dies 10 years later, when the card has long since been obsolete, you can replace it with something better. If you are going to OC, because that is wjat you want or need, I would say "go nuts"...

The chance of failure is so low, and the chance of degradation is so much higher if the OC becomes unstable, which is such a worse outcome... You see what I'm getting at?

Talking

That depends on the temp, and not how much you OCed.

As long as temps are like stock then it will have long life 20 years even....
