Default 9600GT + W7 + new driver = FAIL

I un-installed, used driversweeper.

Re-installed.

Still got problems:

In GTA IV I get BSOD that says driver failure.

I like to play this web browser game that's based in a java applet. When I do the screen flickers black until the browser freezes and I get this message:

I got a 9600gt in a rig running w7 ultimate, and haven't had issues with the latest driver. have you tried older drivers?

yeah, whoever recommended that damn you. LOL

After the driver cleaner ran I reset and got a BSOD when it tried loading windows and had to do some fiddling to get windows to boot again.

same here. i have run into huge problems when not using it though. it is way better to use a driver cleaner than not to.

I have ran into problems directly related to using driver cleaners, one time the end result was so severe that I ended up just giving up and formatting.

I have never not run into problems when using them. I have never run into problems using them.

Either way
