This is not so. If you are able enough to research this tool and make use of the advanced capabilities you will indeed come out with a higher and more stable overclock.

That's an if though as if you are not able enough then you can come out with a instable system.

It is not the tool, it is the tool user that the overclock abilities depend upon. With coolbits, there are no extended timings, latencies, etc. to play with.

You should make a faq so we can know how to get the most oc out of riva that we possibly can, I think we'd all benefit from it..Thanks this probably add support for newer drivers and such..just a suggestion, but I would appreciate it

Well, I will do this, however it will take some time for me to compile and test all the new (and this is a new platform as the engine is not a derivative of the old RivaTuner) characteristics/settings with benchmarks. Count on a couple of weeks to a month for quantifiable validated proofs of tests and an indexed method of use.

I will take it on though my system really does not need much extra tinkering as it is pretty damn fast already.
