Hey

Yes I treaded a little more carefully this time and bought one first to see what they were like.
Only got it today so will have a play around and see if its worth spending $2000 on these graphics cards or not.

Sounds like the new models will be out near the end of the year so may be better just waiting for those.
My watercooling hasnt arrrived yet but Im patiently waiting.

I suffer from a terrible affliction where i have to buy shiny new things....

holy crap those are some good scores. hows it do in 3dm06. and you think that flashing a gts with ultra would let me OC like that. ive already reached the limits on the stock bios and im no good with nibitor

ATItool for 10 minutes and screenshot with RivaTuner should be the test.

I agree I PM'ed USforces with the overclock table for the GTXs but he hasn't replied. Just because you are setting the clock with ATI Tool it's not actually getting your core clock there.

Here's what clock you will get for each setting:

Rivatuner is the only thing that displays your real clock.

Those are only for the GTXs and not the ultras. You wont see many GTXs tipping the scales past 684. I was able to clock mine to 702 which is the next step on our core. I could surf and do general non-gpu intensive activities at that clock. Once I started up ATI Tool's 3D view my GPU would lock up and stutter.

I know the ultras go higher but for GTX users that's the scale. The Ultras are on the same clock scale but you will be able to exceed 684. Do some tests with your card and you will see the same results shown on that table. If you are over 684 and lower than 702 I'm willing to bet you aren't at that particular clock but at 702 or 684.

If you are clocking at 695 in ATI or Rivatuner I'm going to bet you are actually running at 702MHz.

I can only run this when its cooler in the room as it kept locking up after about 3-4 mins when its warm.

But 700 on ATI will still be 702 on rivatuner, which Silviastud is the actual clock rate. So currently I am over 700.

Maybe if the new cards come out at the end of the year I can send these off?
