Been overclocking my card, but I am unable to breach 640MHz on the Core, quite annoying I am finding, as I was aiming for 650MHz.

Nevertheless, 630/1000 is acceptable

I have some new numbers.

8800gtx / Evga / Apogee w/b / 575 / 900 / 752 / 1007 / Single / GPU Volt Mod 1.552v

I volt modded my 8800gtx, so that may answer questions as to "How's it so high?"

I tried pencil modding the memory again, but again, no luck getting 1025mhz memory stable.

752mhz gpu is absolutely stable.

To be fair, even though 779mhz gpu seems stable, but 3dmarks suffer a little.

This is with my e6600 at 3.2ghz and system memory at 916mhz.

Wow 752 thats high on the core, I've noticed a loss in performance over 680 and over 710 I get artifacts in 3Dmark tests.

Thats because your vgpu is holding you back at 1.3v constant voltage.

These 8800gtx do not seem to have 2d/3d voltage modes even though that is what rivatuner and atitool would suggest, although when your machine is booting up, the vgpu is around 1.2v When you get into windows the card tests 1.3v at all times, unless you mod the voltage.

Thanks.

And I just relealized I had the first CPUz on the wrong tab... dow

Here's the validation http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=150569 on 1,5V (Probe shows 1,47V and the vdroop under load is 0,02V)

And yes the Team Xtreem Ram is just nuts. It's running on 2,3V and it'll probably boot at this speed with 4-4-4-8 timings... Just sick.

I still have a lot of tweaking to do. 11k should be possible in 3dmark6

Right now I'm running my 8800GTX @ 620/1020 Mhz

I have a question however, in Ntunes you can adjust the fan speed, default is 59%, I am wondering what will be the drawbacks of running it at %100? I would probably feel more safe to OC it a bit more if I knew the benefits/repracautions of running the fan at 100%

Obviously, I know it would take more power, I have a 700W PSU however so I feel that's not a biggie, but would it cause my Hardware to die MUCH faster or what
