Hey guys, I currently have the eVGA 8800GTS 320mb Superclock Edition Card. How safe would it be for me to overclock this and how much would I have to overclock it for it to make any difference in gaming? I downloaded RivaTuner and it shows the current temperature of the card at 64C. That seems pretty high to me already. Please give me your thoughts. I am using the stock cooler.

![]() ![]() all I needed was a good 120mm fan for Dave if you want to get the temp down go into RivaTuner low-level system settings, check Enable low level fan control, click fixed(___% duty cycle) find a percent you like and apply.

I'm overclocking my 8800GTS 640MB, and I would like to use ATITool to scan for artifacts, but I just can't seem to get it to work.
__________________If I select "Find max core/mem" or "Scan for arfifacts" "or Show 3d view" I get an error message saying: The video card you selected for overclocking in ATItool does not seem to be used by Windows. Visual testing has been disabled. To fix this, go to Display Properties, Settings and enable the monitor output of the card. Now.. I have no clue what settings to changed to fix the problem described.. I'm running vista, but don't know if that's the problem.. Nevermind... downloaded the beta version and it works - seems vista was the problem with 0.26
