I don't remember who actually posted a table of actual clock speeds, but maybe we should include that table in the first post....? I'll try to find the table I'm talking about.

In my opinion we should use screenshots of: ATITool, RivaTuner, and Everest to prove our OC's. ATITool for the stress test, RivaTuner to OC our cards, and Everest to show what our clock speeds actually are.

Any other opinions?

EDIT:How do we post screenshots of our desktop here in a thread? I know how to do the whole Ctrl+PrntScrn button thing, but everytime I post on here, the picture is way too small. Is there a way to change the size of the pic we post on here or do you upload it to filebucket or some site like that?
The hardware monitor in Rivatuner will also show the actual clocks.

Not that impressive, but a usable overclock... how i run my system day in day out... remains at stable 60-70c temps during extended use. CPU is also oc'd to 3.2ghz with no voltage change, could go higher but whats the point?

specs: e6750 (2.66ghz stock @ 3.2ghz), 8800gtx (reference board, stock cooling), asus p5k-e, 4gb ocz pc6400 @ 4,4,4,15

sorry bout the lack of ATItool, ntune does me well, not gonna change tool just to post bench's (especially as currently i run Vista..)

as soon as i have a believably working version of atitool on vista i'll post the max oc results, given these are pretty standard everyday oc's i'd hope it's believable/unquestionable using the above tools.. i won't bother with the big clocks until i can follow the rules correctly

We need to start a new section for the GT and GTS 512 owners.

Default Pushin it as hard as it will go..

Hi everyone!
Just got my Asus 8800GTX 768MB in a few days ago and have been OCin it since. It came stock at 575/1350/900(1800) and it's up to 648/1535/1050(2100) right now. Volts set to 1.32 and I have yet to artifact in AtiTool/3DMarK06/ntune!! This card is truly crazier than I am . I'll get back with more screenies soon, this will hold you off till then. (Next one will have the artifact scanner in it) Just wanted to drop in and let you all know I got one.

EDIT: pic 2 Good enough to join the club now? (oeps.. AtiTool should have ran longer than 10 minutes.. I'll get back on that tomorrow, sorry )

How do you overclock an 8800 GTS that high with stock cooling? I put my cooling at 100%. When i OC to 650/1600/1000 after 15 minutes of gameplay it crashed. Whats the best cooler for 8800 GTS 640 MB (G80).

As promised...

I set AtiTool on before I had a bite to eat, that's why I let it run so long. Shame this card won't surpass the 666 mark!!!!
