Duh... if you have a top-of-the-line PC why would you want to overclock it if it can already play any game maxed out at 10million FPS, and runs multiple applications with ease without slowing it down
(other than the fun and adventure of it, of course!)

Hmm used Riva Tuner, changed 2d operations FAN to run at 75% much better and same temp , i can get lower but will test out for now.

Going to leave 3d at 90% and see how it behaves.

Thanks alot for your help guys, now its just the PSU i need to get quiet lol

I have a 6600gt pci-e. The fan by default runs full out at all times. I was able to turn it down in riva tuner. If I turn the fan to 97% it drops to about 50% of the original noise level.

'Blew up my ATI Mobility Radeon 9600, and then died on my Nvidia MX-440!!! The fan stopped working a few weeks later! >_<'
