What is a 7600GT STD edition? Something you get from Paris Hilton?

Please excuse tubnotub1's hilarious comment. But I assume you mean standard 7600GT. 7600GTs are quite fast and when overclocked, they're even meaner. I really don't think the 6800XT, as good as it is, can keep up with a 7600GT. If you want proof, just google 7600GT and you will get a bundle of reviews from everywhere

Yup. 6800XT is a very slow 6800 with a 128-bit memory architecture. 7600GT all the way.

Plus i believe there is a different shader model for the 7xx's series cards. Volt modding a 7600gt will yeild over a 600mhz core and the mem is often capable of 900mhz.

*There is a new version of the 7600gs PCB which clocks the same stock as a GT! Look for it on Newegg, its made by chaintech or Evga.

Stock clocks are 560 core and 1400 mem + its DDR3 now not DD@ like previous gen GS's. I just ordered 1 for my sons rig for 129.99 w/ a 20.00 mail in rebate!
