you can change the shaders by modding the bios with nbitor. Not sure about the rops tho maybe evga unlocks more then foxconn.

The shader thing is due to the different versions of GPU-Z updates giving different values. 0.0.5 gives me 24Mhz shader, but 0.0.9 gives me 54Mhz shader value. The newest version, 0.1.0 gives me a different texture fill value then 0.0.9 did. It's still beta software, so it isn't going to be accurate for everything yet.

Hello together,
I have got a problem and I hope somebody can help me. I think my 7900GS is a little slow, so I want to make a gpu vmod. Now I realized, that my XFX card has a completely different pcb from everything I have seen before. Could anybody help, if I posted some good pics of it?
I am googeling for hours now, but the only discussion of this card I found slept away ( http://forums.vr-zone.com/showthread.php?t=116257 )
That should be my pcb, although mine got a different cooler when I bought it- now its got the Accelero S1... (original: http://img122.imageshack.us/img122/1...pcard01ar3.jpg )
hopefully
Richard

edit: the barcode says it is version 3.1

Any chance we could get a higher res image of the PCB?

Your best bet is to ask on VR-Zone. Most of us here can follow a vmod with ease, but I don't think there's a lot of us that create vmods for others to follow.

your card is almost identical to a 7900gt.. by the looks of the pics, I will say the pencil mod for the 7900gt vMEM should work just fine.

vGPU is going to come from the large VR's on the right hand side of pic 2 ...your default vGPU should be around 1.2-1.3v ...using one probe from a MM check the legs of the VR's for voltage and post back with some results.

Default Good Results

I used the volt mod posted here to get my Foxconn 7900GS OC up to 670/940. Now that I have been using it at those speeds for about 24 hours, burned-in, and thermal compound has cured, it may go a bit further. Good, easy to follow mod here and it works!

Hello,
I had to do a lot of stuff for my studies, so I am answering late now.
Here are my measurings!
I used the multimeter by puting the + on each single leg of the VRs, while holding the - on ground, is that right?

looks good so far!!

1.13-1.17v = GPUv
2.1v = MEMv

..the circuitry is a little different then.. does your card have a small IC, labeled 'U502'...should be about the size of a pencil eraser..? From what I can see, the Mem controller is still in the same spot [top left, ~8 leg IC] in the pic shown...but the resistors have been moved..to where?

Have you posted on XS..or dug around in the mod archive there, yet? Im sure Shamino has cracked this PCB before.
