One step I didn't see, or maybe I missed it.

You don't have the OSD Server set to load on Windows Startup. That's the only thing I can see different so far.

In the past with XP that didn't matter, Vista now that's a different story.

Figured it out, doesn't display with my stretch viewed games IE; BF2/2142.
It works fine with true widescreen games

Ive had better results in my benches with Rivatuner than ATI actually.

Cool, but its only working when rivatuner is up an running...Cant get it to show OSD when i quit rivatuner.

You can run the OSD server with Riva closed, make sure you have OSD on in the server set up panel.
Also activate the Enable Background Monitoring in the hardware monitoring screen.
