I know that all MSI boards *should* support SLI, as made in a recent announcement.

Not all of them SLI though. The Asus P6T SE is one of them, it is basically an Asus P6T sans 2 SATA ports and SLI, nothing else. For some reason, its a stupid licensing fee for SLI.

Question

under full usage 3 GTS 250 in sli (aka 9800gtx+) overclocked reasonabley would output:
pixel fillrate 40 GPixels/s
bandwidth 240 GB/s
texture fillrate 160 GTexels/s
what cpu could handle this? clocks, cores rating speed I duno how you could explain =) and can a 780i board handle this
in my instance I'm on a 1.3 MPixel resolution with a limit of 75 fps, which i guess is only a limit to the GPUs when vsync is enabled. I duno if it helps or is accurate but thats just under 100 Gpixels/s to be produced.

Here my 2nd 8800GT was automaticaly detected, but I reinstalled the drivers anyways; just to be on the safe side.
