ati tool stops working when gaming
So I start up ati tool and everything is working good. My clocks are good and its showing my video card temps. When I start a game everything in ati tool is 0, my clocks, my temp, everything. I have to close ati tool and start it up again to get my overclock again.

Well maybe you should try rivatuner, ATI tool is great but maybe something in your system is conflicting with it.

have you tried riva tuner? i use ati to strell and i set it with riva
