It already takes up two. Why not another one and have a better card? It just wouldn't have the SLi tag.

did this some time ago. i used the fan that came with my Core 2 stock HSF and fastened it in the middle of the fins. it didn't improve my temps unfortunately. perhaps the intel fan is only as efficient as the video card's fan, so no difference in temps there. now i'm tempted to do it again. with a stronger fan this time.

I'm going to try and make a shroud for this, and see if i can get my temps any lower, the way i got the 52c was by placing another fan near it, so that it blows fresh air into the hsf fan. Its 56c load w/o the extra fan.

u try to change the fan around and have it as a pull setup to see if decreased temps will occur? Lets see some oc temp results ; )

No change in core oc, got ram to 1050. I'm going to volt mod my card soon so this mod will help alot, also i tried a pull configuration and the temps were the same, but it was much louder, the best thing about this mod imo is that i now have my video card fan hooked up to my fan controller so its much easier to silence everything now.
