I added two more 8800GT cards. Also, add the following section and hope it helps someone who are looking to buy 8800GT.

Retail 8800GT Specs and Manufactuers List

This is a list of current 8800GT is available for retail as of 10/29. I will update this list as more information is available. The default core clock is 600 MHz, shader clock is 1500 MHz and memory clock is 900MHz. Data will come with * next to it if manufacture doesn’t specified.

Personally, you might be able to get away with 550. You'll be pushing the 60-80% load on your PSU pretty easily. If you can afford it, try to get something at least 600w. You don't need anything above 750 for certain.

The 8800GT draws 130 idle, 204 load.

At full load, a 520w wouldn't be enough with 500w+ needed just for the CPU and SLI. Add in a few hard drives, cooling fans, CDR/DVDR and a couple of USB peripherals, and you're getting close to 600w.

So at reasonable load, you're looking at about 350-400w just for two GTs. Add another 100w for your E6750 overclocked to 3GHz or higher, and you're already close to the 450-500w mark. So a 550w may work, but you'll be pushing it hard.

Buy once, buy right... or the saying goes.

i noticed on the table you have the GT with memory @ 256/640. isnt it suppose to be 256/512?

Why are my mem/core clocks different on atitools? I have the stock evga 8800gt and it should be 600/900 but atitools is showing it at 650/950.

Are you sure you geting the vanilla one? Check the part number from the box or the back of your card.

Will it run slower if I dont have PCIe 2.0. I dont wanna have to get a new motherboard for a while?
