I've been hearing things about the Galaxy 8800GT with it's cooler; does it take up two PCI-e slots on the motherboard, or just two cables from the power supply?
Edit: I mean this one

It looks like the cooler is about the same size as the zalman vf900 = only 1 slot. If you shove a card right below it the cooler=crap though. I learned this lesson the hard way. The fan won't have any room to get cool air in and just keeps reusing the warm air it just got rid of.

You would lose 1 slot in addition to the card's slot. I use the VF900 on my 8800GT.

I have one quick question for you guys...
How do i keep my 8800 GT fan speed at 55% ? I'm using nvidia control panel to change the factory settings from 29% to 55% i then press apply and save. Every time i shut down my computer the settings are reset to the factory settings i just wanted to know how to make it so that it will always be at 55% Thanks in advance

Got it up and changed the fan settings but Vista is still blocking it from start-up and i can't seem to run it without allowing it to run every time i start the computer, which is a hassle... Any idea on how to make it start-up without Vista blocking it?

I also have vista and the only way to fix that is to disable the UAC from boot. Here is a guide. It will allow the program to boot but will also make windows stop asking you questions every 5 seconds.
