Ordered my Galaxy 8800GT512 , $$209 !!! on boxing day,
crazy deal, it should be here in the next couple days, and ill get the benchies,
one question though,

My brother has an evga 7900GTO(my old card), and an e6750, 4g 800mhz ram,
Will my psu run the 8800GT? and if it will, will the added power outtake affect my overclocking?

should i take my brothers psu, <<< Worst case scenario, i would rather not take it,

Congratulation on the Galaxy 8800GT. Based on the description, it seems ok but I don't know what's the efficiency and how much real power it can produce.

so voerall, do u think its safe to use my 8800GT with my psu? Keeping in mind im gonna heavily overclock my cpu today, and my card is here im getting it tonight, that will be heavily overclocked as well (its the edition with the custom cooler)

Based on website description, it has 550w and total 32a on single 12V so it should be fine.

GAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH it was supposed to be delivered today, but my mom had to be not at home , lol im sad, ill be getting it tomorrow, meanwhile i got my cpu to 2.99ghz, BUT IT WONT GO TO 3!!!!!! ***!!!

I know. I hate the waiting game too. Right after Dell second delay note, I ordered a Palit 8800GT but didn’t work that well for me. It only went to 667/1575/915 (core/shader/memory). So, I ordered the Galaxy 8800GT from NCIX. It took five days to ship to my place. Well, here it is. I just received it 20 minutes ago. Let’s see how it goes when I get a chance.
