I ran driver cleaner in safe mode after uninstalling. I also ran the cab cleaner. Reinstall 169.21 driver and I still get 1x.
I have the PCI Express frequency locked down at 100 Do I need to change that? Thanks for helping. Found the problem: On the card just above all the PCI-e contacts is a cap or diode and looking at it from the back the first 3 from left to right are broken off. Acually 2 are missing and the third one is hanging by one end. RMA time. Edit/Delete Message Last edited by BNelson : 01-13-08 at 12:30 AM. |

I just ordered a Galaxy 8800GT. It has two 6 pins cpi-e power connectors on the back. Should I connect them both or just one?

Hmm is it the 1GB one? If so i guess you have to connect them both then.

YOU'RE AT 100%?! 100% fan speed and you still can't get any higher...WOW. That is HORRIBLE. I'm at 80% fan speed an get 750/1030/1750 and I'm still going higher on my shader.

Guys, it goes core clock/shader/memory. I can't tell WTH you're trying to say there. A 1030 shader clock sucks, so I assume memory and you have it backwards.
