Now that I got my new rig up, I got the score in my sig with the sig rig and the same settings as in my old computer. The clocks are different but I haven't tested them yet.

I started a thread about the 8800GT 1GB version b/c this one is so big and most have the 512MB version. Anyone with the 1GB version I invite them to write about it there and compare results.

how are so many people getting 700+? I get artifacts immediately when getting close to 700.

I really want to see if we can prove/disprove that the 1GB of memory is overkill. I have noticed that the local memory usage is never more than 240MB during my 3dMark06 Benchmarking using RivaTuner Hardware monitor. I will post results later for now I have to go.

new specs... Got an e6420 at 3200mhz now, and i got my 8800gt running at 33C idle, 38C load. same clocks, 12962 3dMark06!!! so close to my goal!!

What are your card temps? Are your GPU and Shader speeds linked or are you OCing them seperately?
