I just installed 4gb of corsair dominator (2x2gb) @ 1066mhz and im expecting my Q9450 to arrive tomorrow. Also I now got Vista Business x64 So if you could update me, thanks ^_^

Quick question: Is there a benchmark anywhere of a 512Mb vs. 1Gb 8800GT?

There are many reviews out there. Here is one. It has 1GB version along with others GPUs.

Hmm, it doesn't look too impressive - think I'll stick with looking at the 512 cards

Hey guys,
just finish building my SLi comp and from comparing from what i've seen on this thread...alot of probably with single cards are pulling about 13500 with O/C of course... Most with Q6600

Q9300
EVGA 780i
2X EN8800 GT 512MB
G.Skill 2X2GB 8 layer
OS = XP SP3

ANY chance my OS is holding me back cause my RAM only reads 2.25 GB

3DMARK06 Score about 13950

How can I OC this without Using RivaTuner or ntune?

This card rocks, these scores are stock clock no AM cooling.

Not really. SLI messes with you memory mapping.

Thanks, I'm DLing it now. Pretty confident with it because I notice that the guy that uploaded it is the same guy that made the blue skin on Precision.

I set the fan to 50% and 1 min later the temp is 48C from 54C. What is the max safe fan speed to not wear it out, and is there a simple GPU OCing guide I haven't been able to find?

Do I just start turning up the shader and core and memory until it gets too hot or won't pass the test?
