My only concern are the pads...

I'd love to get a VF-1000 on it, but I'm afraid I can't go SLI then. Since I'll have to put a VF-1000 on the second one as well, space is limited on my motherboard.

Anyone tried a Zalman VF-1000 on the card yet?
Maybe I'll stay with a single 8800GT and just overclock it to the max.

Have you checked the owners charts yet to see WHO has a VF1000 on theirs?

<----

vf1000 blocks the sli bridge, but I dont think that would matter much, it is flexible yes?

the thermal pads they used kinda look like gause (sp?) with white paste on them. i took them all off for just put AS5 on them. you can save them too, they stay intact. you have to make sure you get every single space that the pads hit or else you will fry. @OP, nice temps!

Nope, I didn't check. My bad.
The only problem I have with SLI VF-1000 is my bottom PCI slots are full. Got two of them and the second PCI-E slot is right next to the other two PCI slots. So I pretty much NEED a single slot cooler for SLI. Hence my dilemma, I'd love to SLI this bad boy though. Will have to see the temps.

Update on my order...
There is no update. lol
They were suppose to get in stock today, no word yet, I'm hoping they get it later this afternoon and e-mail me tomorrow saying they shipped it. Here's hoping...
