Hello hello?

I just got my 8800GT. It's an brand new EVGA 8800GT Superclocked Edition. How much did I pay for it? An nine month old 8800gts 640mb + $13 CAD. Yep thats right...

so here are my initial testing results:

3DMark06

8800GTS 640MB Stock: 10077
8800GTS 640MB OC: Sadly never got a chance...
8800GT 512MB Stock: 12899
8800GT 512MB OC to SSC speeds: 13231
Conclusion: HOLY ZOMBIE JESUS! On stock 8800gt outperforms 8800GTS 640 by 2822 points! and 3154 points when overclocked! Thats 28% and 31% improvement respectively!

Crysis Demo GPU Benchmark
8800GTS 640MB Stock: 26.73FPS Avg.
8800GTS 640MB OC (650/1030): 35.43FPS Avg.
8800GT 512MB Stock: 40.23FPS Avg
8800GT 512MB OC to SSC speeds: 42.68 Avg.
Conclusion: HOLY BAZOOKA! 50% increase on stock, 60% increase on overclock!

Overall conclusion: OMG! This freaking card is AMAZING. Smaller in size, draws less power, and faster by at least 30%! Thats $13 well spent!

I was able to get to SSC speeds (700/1750/1000) stable on fan speed of 60%. Which brings me to my dislike about the card, and that is the fan is freaking loud above 40% fan speed. The card idles around 53 Degrees, never checked load speed. I'd expect around 70.

Finally I attached some pictures for you all to enjoy (sorry for the blurry pics i used a phone camera). I'll be testing other games when I get the time. And also add me to the list on OP if you wish.

Fo shizzle!

Not only does it outperform, but it's cheaper aswell. If they only could be easier to get a hold of in Norway ...

Wow, this is totally messed up.

Here's the whole story. I pre-order a Inno3D 8800GT 2 November. They expect them to come in stock 15 November. Okay, long wait, but nice price.

15 November comes. They are delayed at customs. This was on a Thursday, last Thursday. Friday still stuck at customs. Over the weekend I receive a e-mail. The Inno3D cards got released from customs, but they only got 15 out of 40 of the cards. The supplier messed up. So I will not be getting one. Okay, no problem. They give me a few options. I can for the same price, get a ECS, POV or Chaintech 8800GT in this week or for a slight extra cost, a XFX Extreme Edition. The other option was to wait for the next shipment of Inno3D cards, I decided to go with the XFX option, since I'm not sure on those other brands and the Inno3D will take 2 weeks. According to their ETA, but the XFX would be in this week.

Now, here's the kicker. They got the next shipment of Inno3D cards yesterday and shipped them out. So I would have had my 8800GT in my hands, right now.

Where is the XFX cards you ask? WHO knows??? I posted on their forum yesterday, they replied, but only to say the Inno3D cards came in. No mention of the XFX cards. I posted yet again just now. I hope I get a reply soon...

To top it off, I ordered Call Of Duty 4 a few days ago. Supplier out of stock. Don't you love this country?
