i was just trying to understand why the GT is better than the GTS. its definately better cause thats what i have, just trying to get the workings of it

to sum it up, higher clock speeds and more shaders. that's why the GT is faster. and once the new GTS models come out, they'll most likely be faster than even the G80 ultra, until a G92 version of that comes out.

Is there any way to make it so that when I'm overclocking the shaders it doesn't jump up to different zones, that way I'll be able to get an exact overclock on the shader. For instance, I can only set my shader to 1728, 1782, and 1828. My card is 24/7 stable at 1728, but it artifacts at 1782 so I was hoping I could get an exact overclock to be able to set the shaders to 1750 or something.

Also, would an aftermarket cooler such as the VF-900 or the Accelero S1 enable my card to be able to get a higher shader overclock? If so, which one should I get between the two choices?
