Default I GOT ONE! Finally! YES!

Well recently after checking somethings online, I just pulled up my bookmark of the newegg EVGA 8800GT KOed, and it was IN STOCK! So I bought it as soon as I could, and right after I finished within 30seconds of pulling up the page, I checked, and they were out of stock.... How lucky could I get! Cannot wait to put this baby to work on my new build!

Bah, someone needs to max out their 8800GT without volt mods so i don't have to do all the work of seeing how high it can go!

I'm just itching to put my radiator to work

Hey there guys I just got my 8800GT in and after testing it all out I came here to this thread. I noticed that my Evga model number is not in the same as any in the third chart on page one. There is a very similar model but my ends with AR not A1. My model# is 512-P3-N802-AR and the one listed in the chart that matches my brand and specs is 512-P3-N802-A1.

I someone able to explain this too me as I would love to figure out why. On the Evga website there is a spec sheet for both but they are the same. I checked to see warranty also and I am covered as well as step up. I really can see any difference between the two numbers as far as the physical item.

I'm not sure of the specifics but it has to do with it being a bundle (or what game if any did you get with it) My 8800GT SC is 512-P3-N802-A1 and I got ET: Quake Wars with mine.

You can flash a regular gt with a bios of another branded card (or same brand) with factory overclocked specs. It does invalidate the warranty mind you.

MVKTech is an excellent resource site for it.

Follow-up
A1 is for Quake Wars
A3 is for Crysis
AR is a guess that no game is included
