I wonder the same cause i been keeping my shaders around 1800 and upping the core and memory. I love this card play crysis on very high up to right now its ran smooth im in the snow level now think i gota bouce it down to high i havet been using aa tho. My temps after 2hrs of crysis never went higher then 67c with 71% fan speed.

My 7800 GT was EVGA so I naturally lean that way but I was wondering.

I waited over a month for mine and was suppose to get a XFX, but the supplier messed that up. So I settled for a Chaintech. It's all I could get. With these 8800GT's it's a take what you can get thing.

I've heard people say the snow level is heavier on the GFX, I actually have to say that part was one of the smoother parts of the game for me. I play on very high @ 1280x1024.

Oh and AA will kill your fps totally.

Also I have a question about the HR-03GT. Can it be oriented two different ways? i.e. can you flip it over and secure it that way so the larger part of the HS is on the opposite side of the PCB? I ask because the PCI cards I have in my computer below my 8800 will not allow the HR-03GT to fit, however if I could flip it and put it on that way I have plenty of clearance on the top side of my card.

EDIT: Ran it in XP SP3 with all the same settings.

Go for it man! I have to warn you though... My CPU OC is nowhere near where I plan on having it in the next week or two. Then I get to work on the RAM. I'm hoping to get to 15k eventually.

lol k nm, I cant go that high, Im aiming for low 13k. I really bet I can do it, need to wait for my lapping kit so I can do that and shin etsu and OC my CPU more. Im hoping for a 3.6ghz bench at least. Maybe more
