It might work for a while, but you'd probably be best served by upgrading the PSU shortly down the road.

Yups. Feel the pain. GT is quite confusing. Based on what saw, 8800GT is clearly ahead of 8800GTS especially in 320MB. However, 8800GTS 640MB doesn’t lost that much in the high resolution so I would say that you probably hold it for now unless you sell at good price. It is a tough call.

![]() Vista x64, 8800gt sli, signature system. 1280x1024, whatever the standard options are. Take it as you will. I dunno why it doesn't read as SLI being enabled. Its enabled in the control panel. And if I could get 16041 with 1 GT that would be frickin awesome.

They run fairly cool, not what I had read from rumors I guess. Clocked at 725 core, 1836 shader. It will max out at ~65C in my 900 at roughly a 22-25C ambient. Thats with a FM121 blowing directly on them though.

My E2140 runs at 3.0G now. I am going to buy a 8800GT soon. Can my E2140 handle this? Also, I am using this PSU.
