i think it should be enough... my only problem is having no 6-pin connector, but i can use the molex adapter for that.
You're going to be pushing it close. A Q6600 can draw up to 130w at full load. Add the 225 of the GT and that's 375w. Add several hard drives, a few extra fans, and you're going to be pushing it really close. Probably past 80%.

It might work for a while, but you'd probably be best served by upgrading the PSU shortly down the road.

Yups. Feel the pain. GT is quite confusing. Based on what saw, 8800GT is clearly ahead of 8800GTS especially in 320MB. However, 8800GTS 640MB doesn’t lost that much in the high resolution so I would say that you probably hold it for now unless you sell at good price. It is a tough call.

Vista x64, 8800gt sli, signature system. 1280x1024, whatever the standard options are. Take it as you will.

I dunno why it doesn't read as SLI being enabled. Its enabled in the control panel. And if I could get 16041 with 1 GT that would be frickin awesome.

Yeah, but it wouldn't mean anything.

@1920x1200+ 4xAA GTX > SLI GT

BTW, nice score though.

They run fairly cool, not what I had read from rumors I guess. Clocked at 725 core, 1836 shader. It will max out at ~65C in my 900 at roughly a 22-25C ambient. Thats with a FM121 blowing directly on them though.

I can't go any higher on the clocks. It instantly shows errors in ATI Tool. I havent tested it under ATI tool for more than 10 minutes, but I doubt these clocks are sustainable for gaming, but the temps aren't bad at all, maybe with volt mods.....

I'm building a new system with two 8800GT Superclocked cards. I'll have a pair of SATA drives in Raid 0 and either an E6750 or something along those lines. The PSU I was looking at is a Corsair 520W SLI Certified psu. If he's going to run a 550 maybe this 520 I am looking at isn't going to make the cut or is it acceptable since A: It's Corsair and B: SLI certified?

My E2140 runs at 3.0G now. I am going to buy a 8800GT soon. Can my E2140 handle this? Also, I am using this PSU.

I only have one hard drive, one dvd and three 120mm fans. Is it still OK? I only have $250 for GPU at this point.
