It's a monster.. In fact it's ridiculous. I'm kind of laughing to myself about it, but it is cool. (no pun intended) I don't use anything other than a PCI sound card so I'm good for the space it needs.

I just realized that my hard drives are the hottest things in there.. I couldn't believe how hot they were, I need to space them out. Tomorrow my Fuzion Block will arrive and I am going to reroute and remount things in my case. I will post a pic of that when it's done.

It is definitely overkill seeing is that I did not gain any overclock-ability. But with the vantec stealth it is super quiet which was my main concern. I had a feeling I wasn't going to gain any clocks from it. I may run it passive if I can get some better air flow through my case down near the bottom. It should be great for anyone who wants to volt mod their card...

Here are some before and after pics. As you can see, they were quite generous with the thermal paste from the factory, not to mention that the stock heat-sink probably heats the memory instead of cooling it.

It hits about 53 under full load and 42 at idle. The stock HS was 85+ under full load and 47 at idle.

I have an 8800GT vanialla from evga which was actually clocked @c SC speeds out of the box

trouble is i can put it to 740/1782/950 and it will be stable ati tool but not in like crysis it will freeze with artifacts

i seem to only be abkle to get 715/1726/950 stable

950 memory is good enough for me as these cards aren't really memory limited by clock speed just bit interface
