To use Rivatuner with 8800GTS G92 you must add "G92 = 600h" in the Rivatuner.cfg as shown below

Dang is that 800mhz core clock stable? Even on water I can't get mine over 700mhz stable. The 8800 GT needs a volt mod bad.

Dunno what I am doing wrong but I changed the G92 entry in the config file and still can't overclock my card - it's a PNY but I don't think it makes any difference here. There's only one tab present under 'Low-level system tweaks' which is Temps. And that's it - nothing more. Is there anything else there should be done to enable overclocking? I am running WinXP and have the 169.21 drivers installed. Shall I try to use different drivers?

Yeah 2.06.

I think I got it. I am such a moron. I promise. First I removed the video drivers and installed everything from the scratch and then I went to the 'System Settings' and it was fine.... Nice... But soon after I realized that before I was going to 'Low level system settings' in the 'Target adapter' section rather than in the 'Driver Settings'. Ghrrr... Did I say I am a mo.... Oh yes, I did....

i just got 2.06 and i opened it up and it seems to be reading my card correctly it says 8800gts 512 does that mean they have updated rivatuner so i dont have to add that file line (600)?
