I still don't know...unless these cards overclock like a dream and the drivers really begin to show some performance increases I'm still leaning towards an 8800GT. They're hovering around $200 here in Canada with a MIR and still provide more performance.

It's an odd decision for nVidia to launch a less powerful card for close to the same price but I suppose they have to do something about to bring the product line back to how it should be (ie. low, mid, high range cards instead of last gen low, mid, high, next gen high).

Yes that is true but they also come with 8/6 pin power plug for video cards.

"24-pin, 8-pin, 4-pin, two 6-pin PCI-E, and two 6/8-pin PCI-E"

That was copied from A PC Power and Cooling Silencer 750 watt spec sheet.

Maybe mine is a newer revision.
Call up Corsair and see if they'll send you a couple.

agree, i think i recall older models can call Corsair and ask for 8-pin ones.

my Hx620w have two 2+6pin connector, currently the extra 2 wires are dangling off my 8800GTX.

anyways, looks like i will keep my 8800GTX, G92 is only a small step forward, i don't see any reason to upgrade unless the performance of 9800GTX (i am against SLi/xFire for smooth gameplay reasons, so Gx2 is no go) is a LOT more than 8800GTX, after all, it's meant to be next genre.

I hate to ask this at the risk it's already been posted here, and I haven't seen it, but does anyone have an idea of how much the higher-end cards of the 9 series will cost.
