Thanks I'll have you know, I ran benchmarks last night at 775 core, 1875 shader, and 1050 memory! It pulled 12,642 or something right around there. While not much of a step above my previous benchmark, it ran completely stable, and didn't hit higher than 70C during the benchmark on stock cooling. Keep in mind, this is in a 78F room too.

There's no doubt in my mind that I can push this thing near 800/1900/1100 stably. I'll do some more testing tonight and post here with my results.

missed a class, waited the whole day as dissapointment started to set in as the sun crept closer to the horizon...i hear footsteps and see a shadow approach my doorstep, the tall dark figure dressed in brown greets me with a package and a required signature, i give him thanks and then proceed directly into celebration mode....oh i give thanks to evga for coming through with my desired change to ship to a different address the card barely fits in the 900 since i have an additional fan next to the hdd cage. 3dmark06 scores coming

During the cpu test, i had an fps of 1...is that normal?... and how are my sm scores for stock?

3DMark Score 11153
SM 2.0 Score 4552
SM 3.0 Score 4211
CPU Score 4973

9600 GT Continues to Drop in Price

Quote:
This is the largest MIR I have seen on a new GeForce 9600 GT and lowest price as of yet. A $50 MIR at TigerDirect brings this 9600 GT down to $139.99. For those of you not familiar with the brand, KFA2 is a Galaxy product and TigerDirect notes it coming with a 12/12 warranty. Tiger’s shipping is a bit steeper than others, but it seems to be leading the pack in overall cost.

Seems like just yesterday the 9600 GT was selling for a lot more. Maybe it was last month. Two 9600 GT in SLI do not disappoint either.

NVidia is really trying to kill ATI in that price range.

And they're succeeding. A superior card compared to their 3850 for less money.

*hands nVidia another nail for ATI's coffin*

$138 from Direct Canada.

$139 from http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...553&CatId=1826 even though they screw you on shipping.

$149 from .

Double slotted cooler that is extremely quiet from the reviews...man, how am I going to justify this after just getting a new CPU!?
