Default overclock or not?

Hey,

i have a computer with:
Intel Q6600 4x@ 2400mhz
Asus 9600GT 650mhz Core - 1625mhz Shader - 1800mhz Mem
4GB OCZ Reaper 800mhz
2x Western Digital Raptor in Raid 0
Asus P5e motherboard
O/S Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit

First i had a score with 3dmark06 of 10252
then i installed a new bios driver + all vista update's
then i've got a score of 10505.

Is this a good score????

I also clocked the 9600gt only for one test to
720mhz core - 1800mhz shader - 2000mhz Mem
then i've got a score of 11199.

Is it a smart idea to put it like this and leave it this way?
There is a overclocked version of my card and its called
the Asus 9600GT Top. This one has the specs of the last run.
This card has the same cooler so i thought it can't do any damage.
Please a answer from you if i am right or wrong, and what i should do?

See ya!!

Running you card like that should be no problem.

Instead of posting your rig specs fill out your system info in your userCP. This was it will show in you sig like everyone else.

Default [tcMag] Inno3D intros 3-fan-cooled GeForce 9800 GTX

Quote:
For the latest addition to its i-Chill product portfolio, Inno3D has chosen to do something with Nvidia's latest release, the GeForce 9800 GTX. The result has just been revealed as the i-Chill GeForce 9800 GTX Accelero Xtreme, a factory-overclocked card which is cooled by Arctic Cooling's Accelero Xtreme. Claiming to keep the GPU up to 20 degrees Celsius cooler than the reference 9800 GTX solution, the Accelero Xtreme pairs up a heatsink consisting of 107 aluminum fins and five heatpipes, and no less than three fans.

Since it felt very confident about the card's cooling solution Inno3D has went on and overclocked the GPU and 512MB of memory from 675 and 2200 MHz to 720 and 2300 MHz respectively. The new 9800 GTX also comes with pre-applied MX-2 thermal compound. No word on availability or price though.
