Arrow 8800GT vs 8800GTS 640MB 112 Stream Processors

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127321

or

Trying to decide. What caught my eye was that the gts has 112 stream processors. Do you think it will be a better performer?

Thanks

go for the GT. it's faster, cheaper, and takes up less space.

The GT is better, the G92 core is better than the G80 core.

I'd say get the 512MB. In SLI it can only use 256MB of the memory if you have 2x256MB cards. At that point, you're SLI is almost castrating itself due to lack of memory. It's kind of silly to spend all the money on a high-end SLI rig and then put budget cards into the mix.

Go for 512MB for sure.

Also you may want to avoid SLI with your current CPU. I have a feeling it would bottleneck two G92 cores.

If you want to get SLI 8800GT, then just get a single 8800GTS 512mb G92, it almost performs as well as a GTX but $100 cheaper.
