Take a look at the charts. Its a give or take for lower resolutions, but in strictly DX10 benchmarks, and higher resolutions the SSC comes out ahead by a noticeable margin.

After a few more days of research I realized that the SSC has approximately the same performance as the 8800GT, give or take some FPS.

I realized I can't overlocked this GTS SSC much however, and that a 8800GT OC'ed will go higher definitely...

Most of the old reviews, people complained about the older GTS with 96 stream processors, and that one was considerably slower... the SSC is not as bad from what I have been able to experience it so far..

So it won't be worth it to return it, eat up the restocking fee for similar "stock" performance..

Rep for everyone..

Yeah, I'd say the SSC is good for now. If you are having performance issues I'd say try some overclocking on it. Not sure how high it will go but its worth a shot for a bit of gain.

You are getting awesome performance out of Crysis, I say do not upgrade until you need it. For instance, I am able to max Crysis but without anti-aliasing, I will be most definitly upgrading to the 9800GX2 or GTX when they are out.

Was playing a bit yesterday, I can max out Crysis at High everything with 2xAA and I get 32-34fps at 1280x1024... I can also run at Very High with no AA and runs about the same...

Well reading this review tells me one thing, my card SUCKS!!
Dam the 8800GT is waaay faster than a 8800GTS 320?? I mean look at the Lost Planet 1600X1200 FPS, the GTS 320 does'nt even make FPS....wth?
I thought my Crysis performance was a bit crappy

Time to budget for Intel + 9800 GTX, oh boy my pocket is gunna take a it.
