I've just built a new system. I'm using (2) Nvidia 8800 GTS 512mb in Vista 64. I have all the Windows updates loaded and the lastest and only driver for these 169.25. When I've tried to play some more graphic entensive games such as CoD 4 and Crysis it will run for a short time then crash to blue screen. After it crashes the system goes threw a memory dump, doesn't give any error codes or anything. Just says contact your vendor. When i try to reboot won't go past the BIOs screen after it crashes this way and the POST lcd says it's testing memory. I have to turn off the power supply, turn back on then the computer will boot up normally after one of these crashes. After which windows gives me a option to "search for a solution for your recent crash". I do this and it comes back with this. "STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER" Says it's a problem with the video drivers. It gives me two options. 1.Update your video cards to the most recent driver. 2. If you have recently updated your video driver and problems persist revert back to a more stable version. Has anyone have any ideas on this? Is it Vista 64, VC drivers? Any help would be great!

Hi,you set your memory volts manual? You better go into bios and set the memory volts that's the issue with this board.Im goin to give you the link for the guide for this board.http://www.overclock.net/intel-mothe...ing-guide.html
I own this board for a long time, and can tell you first go and check the volts, and you can try with only 2 memory stick's in the 1st and 3rd slot.

Crank your fan speeds using riva or ntune, the stock speeds on mine are so low that they overheat after a couple minutes too because the fans never crank up high enough to cool them effectively.

I adjusted memory voltage from auto to 2.1v. I downloaded ntune from nvidia and it shows my VC's running at 75 and 78 C at idle. I jacked the fan speed up to 100%, there now down to the 30's range idle. I can't believe they have the fans set so low and why when on auto they don't kick up.

Hmm....I can't seem to get into Ntune anymore. Everytime I try and opened the program to turn my fan speeds up on my VC's it crashes to blue screen with some sort of system service error. I've tried reinstalling this program and it doesn't seem to matter keeps crashing and so does rivatuner. ***! This computer is nothing but problem after problem ;(
