I don't think it will. 8800GT is a great higher end card. The 9600GT by name should be a lower/midrange card.

God my shader sucks. I found out why i couldn't Get a stable overclock. It doesn't like anything over 1800 on the shader clock


New update. 736/1798/2050

But You so cannot beat that for the price. I believe stock mine was
625/1550/1800
