Thumbs up Evga 8800gt Akimbo 1gb

Sweet @ss club, Might see about joining if my Baby is up to the task... :-P
I got the new EVGA 8800GT AKIMBO 1GB. I am not currently OCing it but I got it to 720Mhz for a 3Hr Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance game over Hamachi and she was Flawless. I'm back down to spec because I really don't have a need yet to keep her running hot. But it was fun for the time. If anyone wants some info about the card or has some p1mp1n sweet benchmarks I can try please let me know. Thanks. http://www.evga.com/articles/393.asp

Hi All, new to this thread but I have a question to pose...

Has anyone seriously tried out the 174.xx drivers??
I have 2 BFG 8800GT OC2 in SLI running normally at 735/1795/1010 on 169.44 and stock cooling (I have 2 Zlaman VF1000 arriving tomorrow ) and managed to score 16040 with a couple of tweaks.
However whenever I try any of the 174 drivers my scores drop by around 400 points, is this common

I have read another thread that suggested the addition of the option to adjust the max pre rendered frames in the nVidia Control Panel 3D settings improved performance in Crysis but I haven't tried this yet as the drivers slowed it down too much and also caused it to become unstable...
